A Great Novemeber

We have had such a wonderful year, and this November tops it all!

It's always great to see the smiles on the brides faces after we do hair and/ or makeup on our brides and their friends and family member, but recently our team was just awarded the "Best of the Knot 2014" based on the wonderful reviews our past brides have left us. This is given an elite group of wedding vendors (only 1% in their category).

We also got to be part of 2 wedding parties and a wedding photo shoot for a new floral shop in town. All within the first few days of November.

Looking forward to see what our next few years bring to us!  We are so grateful for being apart of so many lives!

Wedding Season

This wedding season has been so much fun! We have been keeping busy helping so many parties, but a lot of the times forgetting to document our work.

The brides that we have worked with in the past keep up with us most of the time on Facebook. Recently we had a video shared with us that showed us working.

Not just for brides!

This past Sunday, a couple of ladies of CTBT went to help a young lady with her graduation looks. Mi "Sophia" was graduating from nursing school. Her family lives in Dallas Tx and owns their own company. Unfortunately, Mi's family couldn't make it up to see this wonderful day.  Since this would be one of the last times that her and her classmates would be together, she wanted to make herself up right. After doing a little search on the internet, Mi ended up finding the ladies of CTBT to be a very reasonable price, and loved the fact we would travel to her apartment to do her hair and makeup for this event.

We have noticed that a lot of the traveling makeup artists, or hairstylist, have a minimum of 3-4 people before they will come to you. Not us! We want to help as many people as we can, even if it's just one at a time.

Not only did we get to travel for this graduation, we sent out 6 ladies to do manicures at the Limited Corporation (Victoria Secret) to help the ladies of the company enjoy their employee appreciation week there with our manicurist. We also sent a nail professional to help a lady's home who has troubles going into a lot of nail salon, or even the normal salons due to the smell, as her treat from her boyfriend for Valentines Day.

We like to think of ourself as that company that likes to think outside of the box, and always willing to help those that could use a little extra beauty in their lives.

Jamie's beautiful wedding

Saturday might have been a bit chilly, but it didn't stop our beautiful bride Jamie from getting married. She looked so beautiful in her gown. All of her bridesmaids looked stunning in their champaign colored dresses. All wearing different hairstyles done by CTBT's founder and hairstylist Christine Carpenter.

Christine did a total of 6 ladies that day, all under 3 1/2 hours. The ladies all had a basic idea of what they wanted, and then the magic started. All of the ladies enjoyed getting their hair and makeup done at the hotel where they were staying. And couldn't believe the quality of the work we had done.

Nicole Pisanelli was the makeup artist on Saturday. She also had done all the ladies, with the looks they wanted. She had the most fun with the bride. When they had originally done the trial on the bride, they had a pretty common look. BUT on the day of the wedding, the bride decided to go a lot more dramatic. More of a look red carpet look. All I can say is Nicole really knew what she was doing. Jamie looked amazing. 

All we can say now, is "WOW!!!" and "Congrats to Jamie and Tim!!"
